政府加速新界北區發展，粉嶺大興土木，急速發展。四位曾經或現居於聯和墟工作、成長及居住的居民，見證著馬屎埔村這一片土地的改變。客家歌曲對萬事萬物都有感情和生命，襯托在急速的城市建築噪音下，山歌一時表達情意，一時宣洩情緒，一首首朗朗上口的曲調引導我們反思城市的發展與保留的平衡。歷史足跡所剩無幾，時代巨輪下的城市面貌一一變改，誰還認得回家的路？
 

Construction works in FanLing has turned busy since the government sped up the urban development of North District in New Territories in recent years.  Our Journey starts from the perspective of the neighbour here, who have witnessed the changes of Fan Ling to the northeast onwards. With the background noise from the construction site, traditional Hakka music played a role to communicate in the society and to express themselves in this rapid urban development. Historical setups are tearing down, with limited relics, who can still recognize their way home?
